Jakarta, many brides-to ignore the health tests before marriage for various reasons. But it should not pass this important stage to avoid problems in the future. There are at least 10 critical health tests that must be done before marriage.

Almost all the people who will marry must have a goal to have children or a child. However, many do not realize that in order to have a child many influential factors, not only from the women, but also can be caused by the groom.

"To the best of each partner, both men and women to check their health, especially reproductive health, to see if there is a problem in their reproductive organs. So the next time something happens like hard to have children or there is a problem in pregnancy, the couple did not blame each other, "said dr. Mary Hernan Sukmawaty when contacted detikHealth, Friday (7/8/2009).

Examination before marriage is made for women are:
1. Inspection Torch (including toxo and rubella)
2. Doing TT vaccine (for tetanus)
3. Check hormones (estrogen, estradiol, thyroxine, FSH, LH) which will affect one's fast or not to become pregnant and for the maturation of the egg cell
4. Measuring levels of a narrow pelvis whether or not that will affect the birth process.
5. Examination of the uterus.
6. Ovarian examination to determine the egg cell.
7. Check sperm allergy or not, and overall health examination.

Whereas for men is:
1. Thorough medical examination
2. Examination to determine if a sexually transmitted disease or not.
3. Examination of sperm is sperm active and numerous.

Unfortunately, the examination stage is often ignored. Many factors that cause the couple did not want to do such tests before marriage was perfectly normal life and not just stuff. Could also be afraid if anything happens with the outcome pairing did not get married.

"There are even thinking of people who think this is still taboo to do and the high cost of inspection," said the doctor who practiced in Bandung.

Ideally these tests performed one month before marriage, because it does not take a long time and if anything could be done to improve care.

Although there are some Religious Affairs Office (KUA) which requires the couple to carry out checks before marriage, but in fact many do not do it. Maybe this is caused by thinking people who want to quickly complete the paperwork so much to do the 'shoot'.

"However, for couples who want to conduct examination before marriage, should do so at the obstetrician's fertility," he said.

For those of you who want to marry does not hurt to check first because it can mutually beneficial to both.
