Obesity Causes Global Warming?

LONDON, KOMPAS.com - The increasing number of obesity cases (obesity) in the world is said to be one cause of global warming. Why, what does?

The scientists warned that the increasing number of glutton also means showing an increase of food production, the biggest cause of CO2 emissions that make this planet heats up.

Obesity is also said to participate in environmental damage. Dr Phil Edwards from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine said, "Every fat contained in the overweight person responsible for the exit as tons of carbon dioxide every year." That means billions of tons of CO2 each year is created.

The scientists said global warming causes the melting of Arctic ice and raising sea levels and destroy the jungle.

The effect of fat on this environment most of the more visible especially those who are overweight are lazy activities. They prefer to drive, the largest cause of carbon emissions.

Scientists at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine said, developed countries like the U.S. and the UK have had this problem.

Said Phil, "Production of food reaches at least one-fifth of the amount of gas-greenhouse gases." Therefore, continued Phil, takes effort to make a down trend of obesity. This is a key factor in combating carbon emissions and slow climate change.
